Today I was IM'd by my friend "Marie" on Facebook. Immediately something seemed wrong when "she" began blatantly asked for money, so I kept it going till I was sure what was going on.
Long story short, if you see this happen, don't notify your friend over facebook, but text, email, or something else. Have them reset their password and also best to do and update & scan of their antivirus programs.

Needless to say... whoever took Marie's account, didn't like me that much. :D
I'm in a band now... finally after almost two years in NYC. I felt like I've been dragging my feet all over the place, but here I get to be who I want to be on stage and I love it!
We are called BearsOMy! (ie. lions, tigers, and...). Much credit to my fellow band mates in our first gig last night! We played at Sullivan Hall in the West Village to a full crowd and couldn't be any happier. Please enjoy a clip from last night.
This morning, I renewed my lease with Greg for another year to live in the UWS. For me this is really kind of a milestone. Since I've lived on my own, outside my family's home, I've never lived in the same spot for more than a year (or 13 month lease). This has been going on for the last 8 to 9 years. So I've lived in about 9 different places (all mostly in the Atlanta area, but its a big area) and 2 of those places in NYC (Park Slope and the Upper Best Side).
I'm not 100% sure if I'll stay in the same place next year, but I do love my area. I think it would be nice to experinece another part of the city to experience new things. We'll see. Till then, I'll take my 2 block walk to Central Park & Riverside Park.... oh and my express stop.
Did I mention the people in my hood? Yeah... i like them too.
